Balfour is one of the country’s leading producers and their superb new 1503 Collection is a new range exclusive to Majestic. Named after the inception of the estate in 1503, now home to the Balfour-Lynn family. Co-founders Richard and Leslie Balfour-Lynn planted their first vineyards in 2002 on the beautiful Hush Heath Estate, and when Balfour Brut Rosé 2004 became the first English wine to win a Trophy, at the International Wine Challenge in 2008, Balfour was on the wine map. Here’s how it tastes: Notes of bright summer fruits, with a dry, crisp finish; this Pinot Meunier-dominant rosé is bright and vivacious. Try pairing with herby salads, or fresh fish.
