Friuli Grave DOC
The symbolic wine of Friulian wine culture comes to life from Tocai Friulano vineyards over 20 years of age, cultivated with Sylvoz and with yields that do not exceed 60 quintals of grapes per hectare.
The grapes are harvested in the first ten days of September and are immediately destemmed and cryomacerated, in order to preserve the primary aromas. This is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, and aging – still in steel – which lasts for 4 months.
At sight the wine is straw yellow with greenish reflections. The glass releases intense aromas, with delicate nuances of wild flowers, almond, wisteria and white pepper. In the mouth it shows a good structure and an excellent balance between fruit and minerality. A pleasant aftertaste of aromatic herbs accompanies the typical almond note characteristic of the vine.
Serve at a temperature around 10°-12° C, in large glasses.
