If the wine world was a school, Can Virgili would be the playground. Family tradition of making quality organic wines meets the Virgili twin brother’s unorthodox creative minds. Pronounced "chit-cha-rel-lo", the label design embraces the brother’s rascal nature and is full of Catalan insults.
This single varietal wine is made from Cava’s favourite “Xarel-lo” grape variety, from vines over 60 years in age. Night harvested, and cold grape macerated over 8 hours in stainless steel tanks, the wine is then aged on the lees for 3-4 months.
Fruit filled on the nose with aromas of apple and pear. Fresh on the palate, velvety and touches of white fruit with the structure and density from the Xarel-lo grape
