Tasting Note - Saperavi has the reputation of being the Malbec of the Caucasus. The wine is full-bodied, dark cherry in color, with aromas of blackcurrants and spices, with hints of dried berries and red fruits. It has a long balanced finish. Rich and lush on the palate, there’s good concentration with silky tannins and a moderate level of acidity. Grapes hand-picked only by women and only on a full moon - a Dark Harvest.
