It features a base of good quality rum, and it's naturally flavoured with tasty chocolate, resulting in a rich, subtly sweet flavour profile. We reckon this should be great for putting a tasty twist on some classic rum cocktails. The bottle itself is also very zazzy, even featuring a piece of 23 karat gold leaf!
Nose: Mocha, chocolate-coated peanuts and dates, with a hint of cinnamon.
Palate: Enjoyably dark chocolate bitterness, softened by honey, red apple and lemongrass.
Finish: Lasting chocolatey richness on the finish.
Overall: The chocolate notes here aren't overpoweringly sweet, though they're certainly not shy either.
